Is Taylorsville getting better or worse?

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a teacher here and With a population of 59,010, Taylorsville is a smaller city. Household incomes average around $85,608 in Taylorsville. It's a a smaller city city with about 59,010 people. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Pros:
- Great weather
- Diverse community
- Walkable downtown
- Good internet infrastructure
- Good airport connections

Cons:
- Cold winters
- Few job opportunities in some fields
- Mosquitoes and humidity
There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is community vibe. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Worth doing your research before committing.
