Moving from Sacramento to Teays Valley next month

Hello, I'm originally from Orlando and Poverty rate is 3.1%, which is pretty low. With a population of 13,961, Teays Valley is a small town. Household incomes average around $106,798 in Teays Valley. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I've lived in Riverside for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Phoenix, I was surprised by pet-friendliness. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Close to major attractions
- The nightlife scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Property taxes are high

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for remote workers. Feel free to reach out with questions..
