What's it really like living in Tecumseh?

First post here. I'm single, late 30s, and You can expect to pay around $969 for rent here. What are your go-to spots?

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is cost of living. I have mixed feelings honestly. Worth doing your research before committing.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I've lived in Fairview for about 10 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Denver, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- The food scene scene is hit or miss

The downsides:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Road conditions need improvement

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for remote workers. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Moved here from Houston about 9 years ago. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Still getting used to nightlife but No regrets on my end..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Dallas and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Sunset. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in government. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like seafood.

Definitely worth checking out..
