I've been here for 17 years and It's a a small town city with about 12,366 people. Rent is about $1,278/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $344,700 on average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Would love some local perspective. Thanks! Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good.
