Born and raised here. With a population of 1,691, Tekamah is a small town. Homes are going for about $113,900 on average. The city has invested a lot in new development. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Would love some local perspective. TIA! Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
