Been meaning to ask this. Just moved here 5 months ago and Average temperature is around 61--F, so the weather is moderate. Homes are going for about $640,400 on average. Household incomes average around $117,840 in Temecula. Crime rate is something to consider -Temecula sits at 142.3 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 3.7%, which is pretty low. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. What are your go-to spots? The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.

I've been here 7 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is cultural scene. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into running, this place is hit or miss.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Greenfield side vs the Cedar Grove side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
