Why I chose Temescal Valley over bigger cities

OK so My partner and I are The median home value here is around $648,200, which is pretty steep. It's a a smaller city city with about 28,560 people. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Am I overthinking this?

As someone who grew up here, it's been a really good experience overall. A lot has changed in the past few years though. dating scene used to be much competitive but now it's excellent.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Austin about 1 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Decent public transit for the size
- Active local events and festivals

Cons that are real:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are established, gas is pretty good.

Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
