Planning a move to Temple Hills -neighborhoods?

Just moved here 4 months ago and You can expect to pay around $1,743 for rent here. Median household income is $70,097, which feels about average for the area. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 9 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is weather. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Maple Ridge side vs the North side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Hope this helps!.
