Dog-friendly places in Temple Terrace?

Homes are going for about $306,200 on average. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. What are your go-to spots? The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

The food scene here is tough. Tons of great BBQ places. I love the pace of life here.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Baltimore and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Sunset. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in tech. If you're in engineering you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like Italian.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Miami and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Maple Ridge. It's better than expected for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in real estate. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value nightlife, you'll love it. The dating scene is genuinely improving and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. My neighborhood (North) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Portland, be prepared for the culture shock. food scene is completely different here. And Rising rent and home prices.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

I'm a sales manager and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. The community is surprisingly good and there's always something going on.
