Weekend activities in Temple Terrace?

Alright, Just moved here 14 months ago and You can expect to pay around $1,489 for rent here. Average temperature is around 74--F, so it's warm year-round. Median household income is $65,756, which feels about average for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -Temple Terrace sits at 265.7 per 100K. The median home value here is around $306,200, which seems about average. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Thoughts? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cultural scene, then yeah this place is great. But if public transit matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.

I've been here 1 years and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The thing nobody mentions is housing market. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the nightlife is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is excellent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Eastside side vs the West side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Good luck with whatever you decide..

I've been here 3 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the job market is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is improving.
