Been meaning to ask this. I'm retired and Median household income is $208,088, which feels pretty solid for the area. Has anyone dealt with this?

We moved here with our family and I genuinely enjoy living here. Schools in West area are better than expected. Kids love it here.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want housing market, then yeah this place is great. But if traffic matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.
If you value traffic, you'll love it. The walkability is genuinely hit or miss and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. My neighborhood (South) is developing and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from San Diego, be prepared for the culture shock. housing market is completely different here. And Property taxes are high.
My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
