Worst things about Terrace Heights nobody talks about

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Crime rate is something to consider -Terrace Heights sits at 26.4 per 100K. Poverty rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. It's a a small town city with about 9,480 people. Homes are going for about $325,000 on average. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Has anyone dealt with this? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are challenging, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I've been living here for 13 years and I'd say I'm still on the fence after all this time. The outdoor recreation is challenging compared to other places I've lived. Overall Happy to answer more specific questions..

We moved here with our family and it exceeded my expectations. Schools in Fairview area are improving. Kids love it here.
