Considering Terre Haute vs Denver -help me decide

Anyone else feel this way? Military spouse here. Poverty rate is 18.6%, which is higher than I expected. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Thoughts? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Bought a house here in 2017 and the quality of life is solid. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are hit or miss, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it exceeded my expectations. Definitely worth checking out..
