Hey folks, With a population of 58,491, Terre Haute is a smaller city. Poverty rate is 18.6%, which is higher than I expected. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Would love some local perspective. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up.
