Best and worst neighborhoods in Terrell

Not sure if this has been asked before, but The median home value here is around $190,000, which is actually reasonable. Homes are going for about $190,000 on average. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's been a really good experience overall. The only thing I'd watch out for is cultural scene. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..

Hot take but there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. I know a lot of people disagree but after 13 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a accountant who relocated here from Charlotte about 15 years ago. The main reasons were weather and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Four distinct seasons

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Chain restaurants dominate

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are manageable, gas is underrated.

Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Happy to answer more specific questions..
