Anyone regret moving to Terryville?

Hey, Crime rate is something to consider -Terryville sits at 22.0 per 100K. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. it exceeded my expectations. Compared to Miami it's tough.

Public transit is hit or miss here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's exactly what I was looking for.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Compared to Phoenix it's hit or miss.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is healthcare. it's exactly what I was looking for. Worth doing your research before committing.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 6 years ago from San Francisco and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Old Town. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in marketing. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like Korean.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want safety, then yeah this place is great. But if dating scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are decent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Used to live on the Downtown side, now on the Fairview side. Completely different vibe. it's exactly what I was looking for.
