I've been living here for 3 years and I'd say it was the best decision I ever made. The housing market is hit or miss compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want healthcare, then yeah this place is great. But if healthcare matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I'm a sales manager who relocated here from Houston about 13 years ago. The main reasons were weather and a job opportunity.
Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good internet infrastructure
- Affordable housing options
Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Far from beaches/mountains
Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are wild, gas is average.
Socially, I love the pace of life here. Happy to answer more specific questions..
