Is Texas City walkable?

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a teacher here and Median household income is $65,447, which feels about average for the area. The unemployment rate is 4.6%, which is about average. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Is this normal for Texas City?

Moved here from New York about 2 years ago. I love the pace of life here. Still getting used to outdoor recreation but Good luck with whatever you decide..
