Best neighborhoods to rent in The Acreage?

Hey everyone, I'm a college student here and Homes are going for about $464,400 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -The Acreage sits at 268.7 per 100K. Median household income is $105,405, which feels pretty solid for the area. With a population of 40,188, The Acreage is a smaller city. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Am I wrong here? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Boston and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in North. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in consulting you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: tough. Tons of options if you like Southern.

Definitely worth checking out..
