Longtime lurker here, The unemployment rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -The Acreage sits at 268.7 per 100K. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
