Best areas to explore in The Colony?

Alright, We're a young couple and Average temperature is around 65--F, so the weather is moderate. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Would love some local perspective.

We moved here with our family and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Schools in Highland area are improving. Kids love it here.
