Is it worth buying in The Crossings?

So, I'm originally from Nashville and Average temperature is around 76--F, so it's warm year-round. You can expect to pay around $1,879 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -The Crossings sits at 179.2 per 100K. Median household income is $83,643, which feels pretty solid for the area. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. Is this normal for The Crossings? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Hot take but it exceeded my expectations. I know a lot of people disagree but after 4 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 13 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Fairview side vs the Lakewood side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
