Thinking about relocating to The Hills from Austin

I'm a teacher here and You can expect to pay around $3,501 for rent here. Homes are going for about $778,100 on average. Household incomes average around $178,194 in The Hills. With a population of 2,579, The Hills is a small town. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Thanks in advance! It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is cultural scene. the quality of life is solid. Worth doing your research before committing.
