Best and worst neighborhoods in The Village of Indian Hill

Household incomes average around $228,194 in The Village of Indian Hill. You can expect to pay around $2,466 for rent here. With a population of 6,048, The Village of Indian Hill is a small town. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Am I overthinking this? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are surprisingly good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value dating scene, you'll love it. The cultural scene is genuinely average and I've found I love the pace of life here. My neighborhood (Riverside) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from San Diego, be prepared for the culture shock. outdoor recreation is completely different here. And Traffic during rush hour is rough.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

We moved here with our family and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Schools in Meadowbrook area are improving. Kids love it here.
