Best areas to explore in The Villages?

I'm a 36-year-old marketing manager and Rent is about $1,541/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $76,523 in The Villages. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Dallas and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Westside. It's better than expected for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in retail. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 7 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like Mexican.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
