Is The Villages good for remote workers?

Alright, I'm a teacher here and Rent is about $1,541/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $76,523 in The Villages. Homes are going for about $375,100 on average. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Chicago about 4 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Lots of new development happening
- Active local events and festivals
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are reasonable, gas is solid.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Happy to answer more specific questions..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is food scene. I have mixed feelings honestly. Worth doing your research before committing.

I've lived in Meadowbrook for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Diverse dining options
- The healthcare scene is decent

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Dating scene is rough

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for couples. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I'm a marketing manager and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. The community is tough and there's always something going on.
