Curious what people think. I've been here for 18 years and Crime rate is something to consider -The Villages sits at 181.5 per 100K. It's a a smaller city city with about 82,108 people. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
