I'm retired and Rent is about $1,541/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -The Villages sits at 181.5 per 100K. Average temperature is around 72--F, so it's warm year-round. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Has anyone dealt with this? Any help is appreciated. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
