Moving to The Villages with kids -good idea?

First post here. Crime rate is something to consider -The Villages sits at 181.5 per 100K. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

We moved here with our family and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Schools in Westside area are improving. Kids love it here.

Bought a house here in 2015 and it exceeded my expectations. Property values have gone about the same since then.
