Is The Woodlands good for remote workers?

Hey, I'm a remote worker and Average temperature is around 71--F, so it's warm year-round. The median home value here is around $479,400, which is pretty steep. Homes are going for about $479,400 on average. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Any advice would be great. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Came here for retirement and stayed because it's been a really good experience overall. The cultural scene is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I love the pace of life here. Internet is average in most areas.

Public transit is solid here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's been a really good experience overall.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value nightlife, you'll love it. The traffic is genuinely improving and I've found I love the pace of life here. My neighborhood (Cedar Grove) is wild and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Tampa, be prepared for the culture shock. traffic is completely different here. And Summers can be brutally hot.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
