First post here. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Homes are going for about $1,044,900 on average. Rent is about $2,408/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. With a population of 2,734, Thomaston is a small town. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. Anyone in a similar situation? I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
