Anyone work in healthcare in Thomasville?

Random thought, My partner and I are It's a a small town city with about 18,720 people. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Would love some local perspective. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Seattle about 1 years ago. The main reasons were family and quality of life.

Pros I've experienced:
- Active local events and festivals
- Affordable housing options
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Urban sprawl is real

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are manageable, gas is improving.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Good luck with whatever you decide..
