Weekend activities in Thornton?

Hello, I'm originally from Minneapolis and Rent is about $1,810/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 3.4%, which is pretty low. It's a a mid-size city city with about 143K people. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Let me know your thoughts. Cheers. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Came here for school and stayed because it exceeded my expectations. The outdoor recreation is honestly average and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
