Three Lakes housing prices -when will it stop?

Curious what people think. Median household income is $91,364, which feels pretty solid for the area. Poverty rate is 7.0%, which is pretty low. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from Portland and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Fairview. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in engineering. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally pretty good. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

Came here for school and stayed because I have mixed feelings honestly. The job market is honestly hit or miss and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Bought a house here in 2023 and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want pet-friendliness, then yeah this place is great. But if housing market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
