Quick question about Tiffin

Hello, With a population of 17,814, Tiffin is a small town. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. What are your go-to spots?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Minneapolis and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Meadowbrook. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in tech. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like seafood.

No regrets on my end..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 10 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is school system. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Oak Park side vs the Fairview side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Bought a house here in 2019 and it's been a really good experience overall. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I love the pace of life here. Good luck with whatever you decide..
