Rent in Tifton getting crazy

Hey everyone, With a population of 17,140, Tifton is a small town. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Is this normal for Tifton? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from LA and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Sunset. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in finance. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like seafood.
