Anyone else love living in Tigard?
Not sure if this has been asked before, but My partner and I are Homes are going for about $585,700 on average. The unemployment rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
