My partner and I are With a population of 55,395, Tigard is a smaller city. Crime rate is something to consider -Tigard sits at 214.0 per 100K. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Am I wrong here? Cheers. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
