My family moved here when I was a kid. Crime rate is something to consider -Tigard sits at 214.0 per 100K. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Worth the trade-offs? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
