Just moved to Tigard, any tips?
Hey folks, I'm single, late 30s, and Rent is about $1,732/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 5.8%, which is pretty low. The unemployment rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development. Am I overthinking this? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
