Moving to Timberlake -what should I know?

Hey folks, Rent is about $1,037/month for a decent place. Median household income is $68,833, which feels about average for the area. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Hot take but it's improved dramatically in recent years. I know a lot of people disagree but after 10 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Public transit is average here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I genuinely enjoy living here.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.

I've been here 11 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is cost of living. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the nightlife is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is pretty good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The East side vs the Maple Ridge side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
