Why I chose Timberlane over bigger cities

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Poverty rate is 20.5%, which is higher than I expected. Average temperature is around 70--F, so it's warm year-round. The median home value here is around $209,200, which is actually reasonable. Rent is about $1,410/month for a decent place. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Has anyone dealt with this? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are better than expected, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
