Anyone else love living in Tinley Park?

Been meaning to ask this. The unemployment rate is 4.1%, which is about average. Crime rate is something to consider -Tinley Park sits at 39.2 per 100K. Poverty rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. It's a a smaller city city with about 55,007 people. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Thanks! There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I've been living here for 1 years and I'd say I genuinely enjoy living here. The healthcare is excellent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I've lived in Oak Park for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I'm still on the fence after all this time. When I first moved here from San Francisco, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- The cost of living scene is challenging

The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for families. Happy to answer more specific questions..
