Alright, I grew up here but left for a while. Median household income is $103,819, which feels pretty solid for the area. Poverty rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Let me know your thoughts.

As someone who grew up here, it was the best decision I ever made. A lot has changed in the past few years though. safety used to be much reasonable but now it's challenging.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a electrician who relocated here from Salt Lake City about 7 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and quality of life.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Good healthcare facilities
- Good internet infrastructure
Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Can feel isolated
Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are growing, gas is underrated.
Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Feel free to reach out with questions..

My experience has been mostly positive. I love the pace of life here. The only thing I'd watch out for is dating scene. Other than that, Good luck with whatever you decide..

Used to live on the Highland side, now on the Springfield side. Completely different vibe. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

Bought a house here in 2020 and it's been a really good experience overall. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it exceeded my expectations. Internet is better than expected in most areas.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Pine Hills. It's excellent for what you get.
Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in retail. If you're in finance you might struggle.
People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Italian.
Hope this helps!.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Uptown. It's underrated for what you get.
Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in finance. If you're in construction you might struggle.
People: Generally solid. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Mexican.
It's not for everyone but it works for us..
