Longtime lurker here, My family moved here when I was a kid. Rent is about $1,281/month for a decent place. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Anyone in a similar situation? Any help is appreciated. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
