Huancaya es una localidad peruana capital del distrito homónimo ubicado en la provincia de Yauyos en el departamento de Lima. Está ubicada a 3 554 m s. n. m., en el piso altitudinal Suni. Se halla a orillas del río Hualhua donde se forman unas lagunas verdiazuladas donde abundan truchas y diversas aves. Tenía una población de 336 habitantes en 1993.
