Tomball in the winter -how bad?

My family moved here when I was a kid. Rent is about $1,206/month for a decent place. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Public transit is better than expected here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's improved dramatically in recent years.

Used to live on the South side, now on the Midtown side. Completely different vibe. it's been a really good experience overall.

As someone who grew up here, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. A lot has changed in the past few years though. walkability used to be much wild but now it's tough.
