Best apartments in Toms River under ?

Been living here since 2012. Poverty rate is 3.7%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $1,678 for rent here. It's a a smaller city city with about 93,915 people. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Pros:
- Nice parks and trails
- Lots of new development
- Active local events

Cons:
- Limited dining options
- Poor road conditions
- Far from major airports
- Homelessness issues downtown
Is this normal for Toms River? Appreciate any input. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

We moved here with our family and the quality of life is solid. Schools in Eastside area are decent. Kids love it here.

Public transit is improving here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it was the best decision I ever made.
