Best neighborhoods in Toms River for families?

We have two kids (5 and 9) and are looking for a family-friendly neighborhood in Toms River. Budget is around $1678/month for rent. We prioritize good schools and safety. Any recommendations?

Also, are there good parks and activities for kids in the area?

Can confirm the safety issue. But it really depends on the neighborhood. Pine Grove and Cedar Hills are perfectly safe.
