Is Toms River still affordable?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I've been here for 2 years and It's a a smaller city city with about 93,915 people. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

The food scene here is pretty good. Tons of great craft beer places. I'm still on the fence after all this time.

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is pet-friendliness. Other than that, It's not for everyone but it works for us..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are improving, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
